After Six, like the car companies, has a single chassis with many different models. So it's most important to discuss the chassis and you can see the different models (1-button vs. 2 button, etc.)

After-Six makes tuxedos for the rental market. These are hard-wearing, abuse-taking, pure wool tuxedos that will look like new even after 50 dry cleaning cycles. These tuxedos are sold as separates so you can choose any size jacket and any size pant - the cloth is guaranteed to match. The slacks have a side tab adjustment allowing the pant to be brought in or eased out over a 3-inch range. The pant also has a standard 2" let-out in the back to allow a tailor to ease the pant out further. The tradeoff, however, is a stiffer garment than a tuxedo designed for a single owner. This internal "armor" allows the tuxedo to stand up to daily use and abuse. Also, these coats do not have buttons on the sleeve (this makes it much easier for rental shops to alter the sleeves without having to sew on buttons each time).

After-Six tuxedos run slightly tighter than our other tuxedos so if you are bordering two sizes, choose the larger size.
