Fashion formalwear – 3 button tuxedos are a faster, more fashionable alternative to their timeless counterparts in the 1 and 2 button world. Sharper, more distinctive, not so stuffy. 3 button, notch lapel, no vent, tropical weight pure wool tuxedo will last for years. Your choice of pelated or flat front adjustable waist slacks. Trousers have a satin stripe down the leg. |
This is a factory-fresh, never worn, rental quality tuxedo. Designed to be purchased by rental stores, musicians, entertainers. Rental quality tuxedos are hard-wearing, abuse-taking, pure wool formalwear that are designed to look like new even after 50 dry-cleaning cycles. The slacks have a side tab adjustment allowing the pant to be brought in or eased out over a 3-inch range. The pant also has a standard 2 inch let-out in the back to allow a tailor to ease the pant out further. There is a tradeoff with rental quality tuxedos. Rental formalwear has an internal “armor” which allows the tuxedo to stand up to daily use and abuse. This armor makes the tuxedo stiffer and heavier than its “retail” counterpart like our Haspel tuxedo. Lastly, rental quality tuxedos do not have buttons on the sleeve which makes it much easier for rental shops to alter the sleeves without having to remove and re-sew all of the buttons. |

| I ordered this tuxedo for my husband because he has to have seperates. This was the only place I found one this nice (and i ordered a few others). I had to send the jacket back (my husband needed a size bigger than he normally wears in a coat). The people i talked to were super nice and helpful as well. |

Great tux. Looks great. I don't mind the pants waist having adjustments (garment being stiffer - didn't notice), in fact I prefer it.
I wanted a tux I can wear for years to come as my waist changes or if a friend or family member wants to borrow it etc..
Some things to point out:
The pants are not hemmed. I found the "Hem Tape" sold at Walmart makes it very easy to simply pin the hem where you want it, then with the legs inside out, iron the hem in place and remove the pins, then cut a peice of hem tape to length and place under the edge of the end of the pants fabric and iron. Flip each leg over and do the other half. The hem tape seems to hold very well.
I think the pant company should supply the hem tape.
The jacket does not have buttons on the arms like the non rental jackets do. You can sew buttons on if you want, I don't know why the rental jacket companies don't come up with removable buttons (I know they want the sleeves easily adjusted is why they don't have buttons |

Also, the jacket pockets are all lightly sewn closed. You can open them by carefully using scissors to cut some of the threads, then they unravel.
I don't know why the company doesn't tell you about this....
The pockets are fine once opened, they have linings and are large. |
