Arguably the finest dollar for dollar value you will find anywhere for a quality tuxedo. This Jones New York 100% pure wool tuxedo is designed for a single owner, not rental use. Why does this matter? Rental tuxedos are designed to take the abuse of prom season, wedding season, charity season, and all the dry cleanings in between. They are constructed with the formalwear version of heavy armor to look good for the next rental. This armor makes the garment stiffer, heavier, and less comfortable. If you don't need to dry-clean your tuxedo 52 times a year you will feel much better in a *retail* (rather than rental) tuxedo. This tuxedo will easily fill the needs of an average user. Unless you want a more luxurious garment or are accustomed to a higher-end suit, this tuxedo will probably take care of your needs. This is a classic 2-button, notch lapel, side-vent tuxedo with flat front slacks. The coat is fully lined and has two breast pockets and one lower *phone* pocket. The flat front (no pleat) slacks are lined to the knee for comfort. Slacks have 2 back pockets with button closures and have suspender buttons sewn into the waistband. Slacks are made just like a regular dress pant with a 2 inch let-out of fabric in the waistband which allows a tailor to easily ease the waist out up to 2 inches (of course a tailor can easily take the pant in as well). The wool is a fine, tightly woven gabardine - definitely a step up from a rental. This tuxedo comes with a set size pant. For the price this is a terrific good solid basic tuxedo.
This Package deal includes your choice of a traditional wing (small triangles by your neck) or laydown (standard business shirt style), pleated front, cotton blend formal shirt. This is the industry standard shirt. It is machine washable, although you have to expect to spend a minute ironing the pleats a bit to keep them the shirt looking crisp after a wash. Of course, you can always have your local laundry iron the shirt as well. This is a convertible cuff shirt which means you can use cufflinks or simply button the shirt. We’re giving you the cufflinks and it looks so much more elegant – use ‘em! The package also includes a traditional bowtie and cummerbund set. The cufflinks and studs are our best sellers - black center with silver trim. Cufflinks are used to close the bottom of the sleeve instead of buttons. Studs are used down the front of the shirt instead of buttons. Many sites give very cheap rental quality cufflinks and studs that are very thin, easily bent, and often break. Ours are high quality rhodium plated cufflinks and studs that you’ll enjoy for years.
