Sharp shoes – square toe is a younger style than the classic Jazz Oxford shoe. These and the Barclay Jazz are our best sellers (tied for the award). These shoes, like all rental store shoes (and most of our competitors), are made from plastic, not leather. This means they don't breathe or bend. They do look great and will “do the job”, however, we suggest you compare these to the Stacy Adams shoes.

Perfect Fit, Jun 02, 2009

These shoes were a perfect fit right out of the box with no imperfections, scuffs, or other blemishes. I ordered the shoes for a military ball to be worn with a tuxedo. The combination was perfect and I would have no qualms with wearing these to a wedding or any other formal affair.

I am used to wearing $200+ dress shoes with business suits on a regular basis, so I was concerned about buying a low cost formal shoe; but they did the job and I don�t think spending 3-4 times as much would have improved the look or performance. Unless you are attending a formal with wealthy people that you need to impress, you don�t need a better shoe than this.

Overall I would say they were above average in the comfort department. I did have some discomfort with one shoe after 3 hours, but this is normal for me and new shoes. I had read somewhere that natural leather shoes would breathe better, but for 6 hours I had no problems with moisture or heat.

Great looking shoes. Brand new and nicely packaged. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I shopped around locally and on many other websites - you can't beat the price here.
