| This is truly an outstanding buy. Sure, James Bond wouldn’t be wearing a rayon blend tuxedo, but then again, he isn’t on the same budget as the rest of us. When we first received this tuxedo we thought it was going to be a cheesy looking excuse of a tuxedo. We have investigated inexpensive tuxedos before, and even bought some from our competitors. Frankly, we weren’t impressed – these other tuxedos were as stiff as a board and looked like a $99 tuxedo.
But then came this super 150’s tuxedo. It is soft, silky, drapes well, resists wrinkles and is very comfortable. So where’s the downside? It’s hard to find one. This tuxedo isn’t as crisp as a pure wool tuxedo and because the yarn is much finer than standard wool it looks a bit different than a standard rental tuxedo. But different is good; this really does look terrific. Super 150’s is a measure of the width of the yarn used to weave the fabric. The larger the number, the finer the yarn. The more yarn per square yard, the silkier the fabric feels. This tuxedo is a classic 1-button notch lapel, flap pocket, no vent style. Satin lapel and satin stripe on the pant leg. The pant is double pleated and lined for comfort. It has an ingenious hidden elastic extension which gives you an extra inch or two of “growing room” plus 2” of extra fabric which a tailor can let out if needed. The pant size is six inches less than the coat size (42-reg coat comes with a 36” waist pant). The coat is fully lined with 2 inside breast pockets and a lower phone pocket. This is a great entry-level tuxedo – one you won’t be embarrassed by, and one you’ll forget was just a hundred bucks. |

Somehow, I missed the extra 10% for ordering my larger size. This Tuxedo is so perfectly priced that an extra ten bucks isn't going to stop anyone from buying it.
The pants weren't hemmed. Fortunately, I am able to do that kind of work myself. (20 years in the Army,I hemmed a few.)
The fit and finish is fantastic. The "Tux" came out of the box looking great and ready to wear. I'm looking forward to going to a Military Ball and to formal dinners aboard a cruise ship in November/December wearing my own Tuxedo. Nobody else mentioned it; the trousers have waiste-band buttons ready for braces (suspenders).
I highly recommend the Microfiber Tuxedo from eTuxedo.com.
The four-star rating instead of a five-star is because of not being able to order the trousers pre-hemmed. I would have paid a little extra for that service. Did I mention the fact that the "Tux" came in less than a week? Okay I'll give it 4 stars. Good work eTuxedo.com Thanks again |

I decided to give my tux, ordered for a QM-2 cruise, a test run at
the internationally known restaurant at the Inn at little
Washington, which makes it onto many ten best lists. For a 70th
birthday party: mine. As I am suiting up the coat button (there
is only one on this model) drops off.
Other than that, the Tux is fine for my purposes, and the micro
fiber looks nice drapes well and should travel well. The matte
satin lapels and pant striping are nicely understated and give a
quality look that belie its low cost..
I liked the variety of reasonably priced things to go with the Tux,
although if I had it to do over I would get the shirt with the true
French Cuffs rather than the convertible ones. I liked the vest
and the matching fulsome bow tie that came with it. I did not
like the skimpy skinny black one that came with something else.
The stuff arrived promptly and was well packed. Now if I can
just find a needle and thread and get the button on.. |
