| The first thing I noticed when trying on this garment is how comfortable it is. It’s a touch bigger through the chest and shoulder than the average tuxedo which makes it feel great. The cloth is different than any of our other tuxedos. It is a lightweight super 100’s high-twist wool. High twist means the yarn is twisted very tightly at the time it is woven. This makes the tuxedo less likely to wrinkle. I really like the proportions of the coat – how the coat lays, where the buttons are, where the pockets are. It works. Well.
This is a 2-button notch lapel, no vent, besom (no flap) pocket tuxedo. The jacket is fully lined with 2 interior breast pockets and 1 lower phone pocket. The double pleated pant is lined to the knee for comfort, has 2 back pockets with button closures, fixed waistband (no sliding adjuster by the hips) with 2 inches of extra cloth in the waist for a tailor to let out if needed, and the customary satin stripe down the leg. Slack size is 6 inches less than the jacket size (42 coat comes with a 36 waist). We have heard from customers that this tuxedo has been seen selling in high-end department stores for hundreds more. |

Good Tux, Great Price, Feb 13, 2006

This tuxedo is very nice. The thread count of 100 does not do it justice as it feels like a super 120. Anyways, for the sale price, you can't beat it. This tuxedo blows away a rental tux at any shop in the country. In fact, it's something I'd feel comfortable wearing to a White House dinner. Yes, it's that nice. I'm not knocking the other suits on this site, but for the money this Tux is a steal. Beautiful lapels and lines. Fabric feels silky smooth. Lined pants are a plus. The overall feel is perfect. And, of course, the cut is very conservative and traditional. BEST BUY, no doubt.
